Philip Beere
G Street Founder
Philip Beere is the Founder of G Street™ and the G Home™, which is the leading national brand for green remodeled homes that are pre-1980.
In 2008 Mr. Beere was recognized by The Business Journal as a Green Pioneer for retrofitting existing homes to ICC-700 and LEED standards. He is the recipient of the 2011 and 2010 NAHB Green Remodel Advocate of the Year award and the G Home™ was awarded 2010 NAHB Green Remodel Project of the Year.
In 2010, the G Home™ was awarded the Housing Hero Award for Superior Sustainable Design, by the State of Arizona.
The G Home™ was featured twice on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, as a possible solution to the housing crisis.
The first LEED Gold certified single-family remodel in the United States and the first NAHB Emerald Certified remodel belong to G Street.
In 2011, G Street was awarded the DOE contract to create the curriculum and train over 1200 building professionals and officials on the 2009/2012 IECC.
G Street is the 2010 recipient of the Valley Forward Crescordia award for environmental education and the G Street™ exclusive series, The Green Remodel Workshop™, which has trained over 8000 building professionals nationwide.
In October of 2011, G Street™ and Lowe’s Commercial announced a partnership to expand the G Home™ program throughout the United States.
Amy Bubier
ASID Interior Designer
Amy Bubier is Principal of AB Design Elements, llc, a Scottsdale, Arizona based residential and commercial interior design firm. She earned a BS in Interior Architecture from University of Maryland, worked for 8 years in tenant improvement, and the last 12 years in residential design. Her work has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine, the Arizona Republic newspaper, AZ Magazine, Hearth and Home magazine and on www.hgtv.com. Amy’s design work focuses on eco-conscious residential remodeling and interior design consulting for fine homes, and she is the Arizona interior designer for the G Home projects that are remodeling older, distressed homes into more efficient, NAHB-certified homes across the nation. Her involvement includes space planning, specification of ‘green’ fixtures and finishes, purchasing, and construction coordination.
Shawn P. Mullins

The primary founding member of Earthwise Engineering , Shawn P. Mullins, brings with him over 22 years of Engineering management, code compliance, and energy design experience. Proper utilization of energy management techniques, building modeling software and auditing tools is a complex undertaking. In order for these tools to provide reliable results, those using them must know what they are doing. Our practical experience combined with ongoing certifications, extensive business education, and both GL and E&O insurance proves to be a powerful combination of skill and security for our customers.
Mr. Mullins is also ahead of the energy consultant pack in that the bulk of his career in the building industry has been in modular and factory built buildings. From single-family residential, to multi-family and various forms of commercial buildings, Mr. Mullins has a broad depth of project and building occupancy design and code compliance leadership experience.

REEis handles the entire retrofit process. REEis starts with the initial audit, makes all of the improvement in-house and ends by facilitating all applicable utility rebates and tax credits.

Mary Estes, ASLA, is Principal and founder of inDIGenous mINds, based in Phoenix AZ. With over twenty-five years of professional experience, she has created high-quality, regionally-appropriate, and sustainable landscapes for both public and private clients in New York City and the Northeast, Seattle and the Northwest, and now in Phoenix and the Southwest.
With this vast and varied experience to draw from, inDIGenous mINds focuses on the unique design and environmental considerations associated with each project’s site. We understand aesthetic qualities and the importance of place-making, and create spaces with strong regional identity where people feel connected to nature. Our mission of environmental stewardship includes creating new environments or transforming existing water-intensive landscapes into livable, productive, and lush gardens.

Kristi Dinner

Blessed with a limitless imagination, an innate eye for beauty and design aesthetic brimming with soul and stylish sophistication, Kristi Dinner’s professional experience as an interior designer of residential and commercial spaces spans more then 25 years.
In 1994, she founded the interior design firm company kd, llc which specializes in luxury residential living spaces. Since then, she and her team have created some of the best-dressed interiors in the country, all marked by their captivating color palettes, timeless allure and vibrant personalities.
An avid global traveler with a passion for exploring other cultures, Dinner is adept at sourcing the best fittings from around the world to make each living space inviting, personal and unique. While her interiors are designed to provoke the spirit, quicken the pulse, and rouse the imagination, she takes great pride in ensuring that they are also functional, comfortable, and accurately reflect her clients experiences, needs and lifestyles.
Dinner has re-imagined the visual landscape on a diverse array of award-winning projects. Under her leadership, company kd has received several industry awards from venerable organizations such as The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and the Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence (CARE).
The firm’s work has also been featured in a variety of national publications such as Home, Women’s Day, and Better Homes and Gardens, as well as regional publications including 5280 and Colorado Homes & Lifestyles.
Prior to launching her Denver-based firm, Dinner honed her skills in Los Angeles working with Tosh Yamashita, an internationally recognized designer who was the creative inspiration behind the interiors of Neiman Marcus and Gump’s of San Francisco. While in Los Angeles, she also spent several years lending her versatile creativity to various film and television projects as a set decorator.
She received her graduate degree from The New York School of Interior Design and is currently an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
She is particularly proud of her Mediterranean bungalow home in Congress Park that her maternal grandparents built in 1928, the year they were engaged. She shares her home with her beloved dog Lulu and spirited cat Matisse.
Paul Kriescher

Paul Kriescher is a Principal of Lightly Treading Energy & Design – a Colorado based company –formed in 1997- that works to better the energy efficiency, safety, environmental impact and comfort of homes & small commercial buildings. Kriescher has served on the board of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society and is currently on the Habitat for Humanity for Metro Denver’s Plan Review committee. He currently serves on the Governors Energy Office (GEO) Residential Energy Efficiency Working Group and is a member of the Energy Efficiency Business Coalition. In addition, Mr. Kriescher is an Adjunct Professor for Colorado State University’s Institute for the Built Environment Program. Paul Kriescher has a Masters of Science in Energy Analysis & Policy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Landscape Designer
Rebecca Silva specializes in a holistic approach to design with a consistent eye for environmental sensitivity. With degrees in both architecture and landscape architecture, she views every project in its entire composition. Harmoniously blending landscape and architecture is the goal while exploring experiential and environmental opportunities. This unified design approach seeks to connect landscape and architecture, and people and place. Rebecca has extensive experience in educational and residential sectors in the fields of landscape and architecture. She seeks to enfold context, materiality and process, while striving to design dynamic, beautiful and inspiring spaces.
